Anna and the French Kiss- Stephanie Perkins

Title: Anna and the French Kiss
Author: Stephanie Perkins
Format: E-Book
Source: Borrowed from the library
Rating: 4/5

Goodreads Summary:
Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris - until she meets Etienne St. Clair: perfect, Parisian (and English and American, which makes for a swoon-worthy accent), and utterly irresistible. The only problem is that he's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her almost-relationship back home.

As winter melts into spring, will a year of romantic near - misses end with the French kiss Anna - and readers - have long awaited?
Do not judge this book by its cover.  It Is fabulous.  I did judge it by its cover and the cover. I had a lot of judgement towards it but I kept reading on book blogs how amazing it was so I read it and it was soo good. I cheated a little and read it on my e-reader so I wouldn’t have to look at the cover but none the less I suggest reading it if you have not already.
Anna is upset when she is shipped off to a boarding school in Paris. She likes her life in Atlanta and is in no rush to leave.  Then she meets Etienne St. Clair who makes boarding school so much better, minus the fact that he has a girlfriend.  Anna makes her feelings know but she acknowledges he has a girlfriend which I find rare in novels these days. Anna is a character you can relate to. She swoons but not in a bad way, she is realistic and funny. She makes new friends and starts over in France.
Etienne makes me want to jump on a plane and go to France.  He makes it known he has a girlfriend even though he finds he is attracted to Anna. I did get a little mad at him but he made up for it.
Read this book.  I cannot wait to read her next book.
